TRIADS
A Triad or Three Tone Chord consists of three sounds, namely: the Root or Funda mental, together with its Third and Fifth, counting upward, thus: |

Play this Triad; each Tone separately, at first; then, all together. Let the student write upon each degree of the Scale of C a Triad. |

||

||
|
||
Play them all, of course.
Let us number the Triads according to the Degree of the Scale upon which each is found, using the Scale of C as our model, and examine each Triad closely. |
